You're Booked!

We've got you on the calendar and, we can't wait to meet you! We want you to feel 100% prepared for your shoot, so we've laid out everything you can expect here, and how to prepare.

THE EXPERIENCE

HAIR AND MAKEUP STARTS RIGHT AWAY AND TAKES ABOUT 45 MINUTES.
SHOOTING TIME RUNS ABOUT 1 HOUR AS NECESSARY TO LAND ENOUGH EXCELLENT SHOTS.
ABOUT ONE WEEK AFTER YOUR SHOOT, YOU'LL RECEIVE AN EMAIL TO BOOK A SPOT FOR A ZOOM CALL TO SEE YOUR IMAGES AND SELECT YOUR FAVORITE. AT THAT TIME, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PURCHASE MORE AS WELL.
PRINT GOODS WILL BE READY UP TO FOUR WEEKS AFTER THE ORDERING SESSION. THE DIGITAL IMAGES CHOSEN WILL BE DELIVERED RIGHT AWAY VIA EMAIL OR ONLINE DOWNLOADING GALLERY.
ONCE A DATE IS LOCKED IN FOR THE MAGAZINE RELEASE PARTY, YOU'LL BE EMAILED WITH ALL THE DETAILS.

WHERE DO I GO?

Unless we've already consulted on a different location, we'll be shooting at my studio inside at 1423 S Harvard Ave Tulsa, OK 74112. Look for the golden door! We are right next door to a barbershop. Being on time is crucial, but please do not arrive more than five minutes early so as not to disrupt any prior shoots. Parking is behind the studio.

DO I COME DRESSED?

Please arrive in something comfy that is loose enough to be pulled very easily over hair and makeup, or something that buttons or zips up. This is your time to relax, be pampered, and get settled in! We want you to be comfortable while you are having hair and makeup done, and we don't want to get any product on your wardrobe.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

Please bring all of your wardrobe on hangers so we can put them on the rack. Please come with clean, bare, and lightly moisturized skin, and hair that was washed the day before and is product-free. (Unless your hair is very curly, in which case, feel free to add curl-defining and moisturizing products as necessary.) Please be sure that your accessories, props and wardrobe are as well-organized as possible, as this helps things run smoothly.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

We understand the desire to bring along some support and share this exciting day. But we've found over time that this is an experience best savored alone, and time and space are more efficiently managed without extra guests.

CAN I BRING ALCHOHOL?

We get it! Sometimes it's nice to have something to take the edge off,-but trust us, you don't need it at all. We don't want anything to take away from the true you in your images, and the truth is, being under the influence of anything mind-altering can negatively impact your photos, so please arrive sober. (High on life is fine, of course.)

THE WEEK BEFORE

Attention to detail all comes together to create incredible images. Be sure to book your beauty services the week of your shoot so that your brows will be groomed, your hands manicured and your hair freshly cut and colored. Book it now so that it's squared away and you can ease into your shoot week confident and prepared.
