WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL I NEED?

You don't need to bring anything to this workshop except your camera. To recreate the looks afterward on your own, you'll need a strobe on a stand, a large modifier, a reflector, and of course, your camera. If you do not own any of these things, you can purchase all of these things at entry-level for around $400. Upon registering you will receive a welcome packet with shopping links.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

You'll be welcomed into my Tulsa studio with light refreshments and some time to break the ice and introduce yourself to the other photographers.

Each lighting setup will be taught on-the-spot with a model in place, and you'll have the opportunity to step in with your own camera and get some great shots for your portfolio.

You'll get hands-on help from Nicole in a small group setting.

After shooting, you'll have the opportunity to ask Nicole about anything-Lighting, posing, retouching, business-Anything photography related that you need information on.

After the class wraps up, you'll be emailed a cheatsheet PDF which serves as your notes for the workshop so that you can be in the moment while you learn.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?

The right person for this course already has a basic working knowledge of their own camera and should understand how manual mode works or have a working knowledge of the relationship between aperture, ISO and shutter speed and how all of those things work. Some experience using strobes is helpful, but it's not necessary.

Other than those basic starting points, this class is great for beginner strobe users, new photographers, or seasoned photographers who are just looking for something new to add to their toolkit.
